It was really cool to hear how everything went so well at HOPE. Especially the part about how it was even raining when the truck left the church and how God works.
Isn't that the beauty of it? Who could ever fully understand the mysterious ways of God? Not even Solomon with all his wisdom. It's funny because it really depends on what's going on in our lives. Some of us like the fact that we can't understand God, and some of us think that it would be a little easier sometimes if we could just understand God a little more.
Me, I like the fact that I can't understand God. Even though sometimes I have a tendency to complain, but didn't anybody see BRUCE ALMIGHTY?
What's the point Marvin? The point is what Jim Carrey (Bruce) says at the end of the movie:
Please, I don’t want to do this anymore.
I don’t want to be God.
I want you to decide what’s right for me.
I surrender to your will!

| I agree I too wouldn't want to be God. The more time we spend with Him may not help us understand Him anymore but we surely would be able to hear Him clearer. Shouldn't hearing Him be enough?
By the way, great blog. You had me thinking for a while. |
